The Forgotten Ones.

There's a man standing on a corner in the rain.
He's holding up a sign that says "Homeless and hungry please help if you can".
And I watch the people turn their heads and just drive right on past,and I wonder to myself.
This must be just like when you are old and all alone and your life is put upon a shelf.

JESUS loves all of the homeless people
JESUS loves all of the homeless ones
JESUS loves all of the lonely ones...
So you should love the lonely people too

There's a woman pushing a cart down the road.
She's talking to herself everybody thinks she's crazy no one knows.
And I watch her walking down the road all by herself,and I wonder if she has a family.
Nobody says a word to her nobody seems to care.
She just might need a friend like you and me.

So you should love the homeless people too

There's a man sitting in a wheelchair in a hall.
Passing by the last years of his life staring at a wall.
And I watch the people walking past him up and down the halls.
I wonder If he has a family.
But no one stops to talk to him I wonder If he knows the LORD
He just might need to talk to you or me

JESUS loves all of the olden people
JESUS loves all of the olden ones
JESUS loves all of the lonely ones
So you should love the lonely people too.

If you wanna be like JESUS,why don't you start showing it ?
